  The Division of Public Health of the Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences (BIHS), through a collaborative program with the University of Oslo supported by a NOMA Grant is announcing the admission of the 4th Batch of students in M. Phil (Two Year) Courses (Academic year July 2011 - June 2013) in the following disciplines under the University of Dhaka.
Course Name:
  • M.Phil in Community Nutrition
  • M.Phil in Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD)
  • M.Phil in Epidemiology & Biostatistics (Epi & Bio)
  • M.Phil in Health Education & Health Promotion (HE & HP)

Admission Requirement:
  • MBBS or its equivalent recognized by the BMDC plus one year in service training is the usual requirement for the M.Phil courses. However, the courses are also open to non-medical professionals with at least 4 years of University education and 2nd class (or equivalent GPA Grade) from any recognized University. In case of non-medical candidates academic qualification in relevant subject will only be eligible.
  • Age limit on the last dare of Application is 45 years.
  •  Interested candidates are requested to submit their Application and CV together with certified copies of all relevant documents and a recent passport size photograph.
